If you're intending to come to the first weekend of the County Championships up the A404 from the South (from the M4 or the A4) - you're not going to! We've discovered the A404 dual carriageway WILL BE CLOSED at Marlow from Friday 11th Jan night to Monday 14th Jan morning.
This will mainly affect people from Bracknell, Maidenhead, Newbury, Reading, Tilehurst and Windsor.
Please plan accordingly! Highways England are suggesting via Henley and the A4155 or M4 / M25 / M40, but I can't make their Roadworks Finder website work. Looking at a map suggests that a route via Henley-to-Thames (A4155) is viable, and that Taplow/Cookham/Little Marlow might work, or Slough/Farnham Common/M40. Please check the links above out and decide for yourself.
The following are key points for this County Championships:
NOTEAny swimmers withdrawing from the Boys 15 & Over 800m Freestyle should email firstname.lastname@example.org) as soon as they make that decision. That will allow their slot to be allocated to one of the 3 rejected swimmers.
Here is a record of the entries that have been accepted.
Parents and swimmers should read the Information for Competitors which contains the confirmed session and warmup times for the Championships.
Full details, schedules and qualifying times are contained in the Meet's Promoter's conditions, schedule and qualifying times document. (But - see confirmed session times in the Information for Competitors, above)
There is also the County Association General Championship Conditions, which contains more detailed information on eligibility etc.
You will be able to enter using the online entry page on https://bsbasa.org/Meet/BSBAG19 after the meet opens on Wednesday, October 17th 2018.
As last year, individuals (rather than clubs) will be expected to make and pay for their own entries online. Note that the meet is NOT first-come, first-served, so there is no need to enter before you have your latest times to "get a space".
Clubs may make Team Entries for the Relay races, and purchase poolside passes for coaches and team managers online.
Here is a record of the entries that have been received so far; Note: This is not a list of accepted swims.
