Annual
General Meeting
2007
The Annual Council Meeting of the Association will be held on
Thursday 13 September 2007. The accounts of the Association, and an annual
report will be submitted. The President will be elected, and elections will be
held for Hon. Secretary, Hon. Treasurer, Asst. Hon. Secretary, Championships
Hon. Secretary, Championships Assistant Hon. Secretary, Hon. Secretaries of
Diving, Masters Swimming and Synchronised Swimming Committees, Hon. Synchronised
Swimming Competitions Secretary, Trophies Hon. Secretary, Public Relations
Officer, Swimming Officials Organiser, Water Polo Manager and up to 12 members
elected from and by the Council. The latter, non-portfolio members, are usually
acknowledged as the representatives of Clubs.
Nominations for these positions must reach the Hon. Secretary by the
31st July, on the prescribed form (available from the Hon. Secretary)
which shall be signed by the proposer, the seconder and nominee, each of whom
shall be a member of the Council. In the case of a club delegate, the name of
the club shall be stated. Please note that Clubs are entitled to appoint up to 3
Members to Council. The number is delegates is the same as may be appointed to
the ASA South East Region Council.
The Association does not presently have an Hon Secretary of Diving
Committee or a Water Polo Manager. In addition, the
Hon Secretary of the Masters Committee will move away from the area
before the Council Meeting, while the Championships Hon Secretary and her
Assistant have indicated they wish to retire. |
